How the four weeks run

One module a week.
Every week, out on location.

Each week carries one module, backed by an excursion into Bali's villages, temples, rice terraces or coastline. The portfolio work runs alongside, from the first day to the closing showcase.

Week 1
Foundations.
Camera settings, exposure and composition, put into practice on the first excursions into Balinese villages and temples.
Week 2
Storytelling.
Narrative structure, shot sequencing and digital content strategy, tested at rice terraces, volcano viewpoints and local markets.
Week 3
Editing.
Lightroom and Premiere, colour correction and AI-enhanced tools, alongside a first pass at your own personal brand.
Week 4
Exhibition.
Curating your final portfolio and video project for a live showcase and digital release.

Portfolio.
Practical assignments and a reflective journal run alongside every week, feeding straight into the work you show in week four.

What people ask us

Do I need professional camera experience?
No. The course is open to photography and videography students, content creators, media and marketing students, and anyone with a genuine interest in visual storytelling. No formal background is required, and the four modules take you from camera fundamentals through advanced editing.
How many credits do I earn?
Up to 10 ECTS across four modules (2, 2, 2 and 4), plus a certificate and academic transcript from PIB College. Confirm the transfer with your home registrar before you register.
Which visa do I need?
A proper student visa. At PIB College the C-9 single-entry visa is standard, with the multi-entry E-30 available on request. It is arranged through the college, never a visa on arrival.
When does the programme run?
The next intakes are the Late Year Session in November 2026 and the Mid Year Session in June and July 2027. Exact dates and fees are in the info pack.
