Earn 12 Transferable Credit Points

Complete the program and earn 12 ECTS credits, which can be transferred to your home university, making your summer school experience count toward your degree.

Designed for Practical Learning and Exploration

This intensive four-week course starts with a welcoming dinner on the Saturday evening before classes begin. Each week is dedicated to a specific module, offering students the chance to dive deep into different aspects of tropical architecture.

Classes are a mix of theory and hands-on learning. Mondays and Tuesdays focus on lectures at the IDB Bali campus, while Wednesdays and Thursdays are set aside for excursions and workshops. Some Fridays are also used for activities.

Alongside the modules, students will work on a studio project focused on resort and hospitality design, applying their knowledge each week. The course ends with a project presentation and a festive graduation ceremony, where students receive their certificates.

Modules

The course consists of four core modules and one studio project, leading to a total of 12 ECTS credits. These credits reflect the workload of an intensive short course and can be transferred to most international credit systems.
