Designed for Practical Learning and Exploration

This 15-week program blends classroom learning with real-world experiences. Each week, you’ll dive into tropical architecture and green design through a mix of lectures, workshops, and site visits. Three days a week are dedicated to on-campus lectures and practical projects, covering essential modules such as sustainable architecture, interior design, and the use of natural materials in tropical climates.

A key component of the course is the design project, which will integrate all the essential modules, allowing you to apply your learning in a comprehensive real-world project. This project will challenge you to combine tropical architecture, sustainability, and green design principles into a cohesive design for a villa, resort, or hospitality space.

In the middle of the semester, there will be a two-week break, giving you the opportunity to explore Bali or other parts of Indonesia, recharge, and reflect on your progress.

One day a week is set aside for hands-on workshops and excursions to architectural landmarks, eco-resorts, and local design studios, where you’ll explore Bali’s unique approach to green and sustainable design. Fridays are typically free, giving you time to reflect on your projects, explore more of Bali’s rich architectural landscape, or simply relax.

The program consists of six key modules, providing a total of 30 ECTS credits. These credits represent the workload of a full semester and are transferable to most international credit systems.
